Glenn has carefully measured many flutes, both old and new, and incorporated their best points into his own instruments. The flutes he is making at the moment are based around Rudall and Rose models with some small dimensional changes to improve tuning. His flutes are easy to play, responsive, have great tone, are in tune and have a strong low D.

Only the best quality wood is used and seasoned for as long as possible. All keywork and rings are made from solid sterling silver and tuning slides are fitted as standard.

Flutes in D and Eb are available at the moment but others such as C and Bb are in the development stage and should be available in the future.

Any number of keys up to a maximum of 8 can be fitted, with custom made keys to suit the requirements of individual players being an option.

African Blackwood is the wood of choice at the moment but Mopane and Boxwood flutes can be supplied when the wood is available.

Options such as specified keys and the shaping of blocks for future key fitting are available on request.

All flutes are supplied with a handmade wooden case which is included in the price.

Current waiting time for keyed flutes is 10 months and for unkeyed flutes 6 months. Waiting time can vary due to workload, please enquire.

Every flute carries a guarantee against faults in materials or manufacture for the first 12 months from date of delivery.
